Veterans Patio, located in the lower courtyard of Roberts Hall South, recognizes that Claremont McKenna College was built by individuals tempered by adversity and inspired by the successful defense of liberty.
A college devoted to leadership cannot fail to honor those members of its community who have served the nation and defended freedom.
The space is therefore dedicated in honor of the men and women of Claremont McKenna College who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
A separate plaque in the courtyard names and honors those alumni who have given their lives in defense of the country.
