    1. Reid Castle

      The main administrative building and vibrant center of both academics and student life. This historic building is the home of the office of the President, faculty and business offices, admissions and the welcome center. Each year the college community attends a variety of functions here ranging from: theatre productions, lectures, guest speakers and social events.

    2. Heritage Hall

      This area which connects Reid Castle to O’Byrne Chapel is a pictorial history of both Manhattanville College and Reid Castle. A starting point for the student led tours it offers a fascinating glimpse of the college including: pictures of Reid Castle and the campus, buildings, renovation projects, past and present students, an alumni wall and video display screens with images of the Manhattanville College community.

    3. Kennedy Gymnasium

      The home of the “Valiants” this building houses: the newly renovated basketball court, strength and conditioning facility, swimming pool, offices of the coaches and a dance studio. The outdoor athletic facilities includes: a baseball field, softball field, tennis courts and fields for soccer, lacrosse and field hockey. There are a total of twenty athletic division III teams represented at the college.

    4. Library

      A full service center that provides an extensive mix of both print and electronic materials. The library offers many personalized services to students including but not limited to: workshops, In-person-consultations and a math and writing tutor in learning commons. The building has a range a study spaces conducive to both student group study sessions or quiet spaces for individual study.

       

    5. Brownson Hall

      The academic hub of campus is a mix of various classroom sizes ranging from larger lecture halls that have a capacity of 85 to mid to smaller sized classrooms – the student to faculty to ratio is 16 to 1.  This building which has gone through extensive renovations has also seen 14 new high tech classrooms added, and is also home to Commuter Lodge.

    6. Music Building

      The Music building is anchored by Pius X Recital Hall – a 188 auditorium with wonderful acoustics used for performance, recitals, and also functions as a movie theatre.The Music building is configured to include: classrooms, offices, studios, practice rooms and rehearsal spaces.

    7. The McCormack Quad

      A Manhattanville College favorite spot, this centrally located verdant area is the home of many Manhattanville traditions including: commencement, Quad Jam, and various social events. This busy green mall is also a gathering space for students to relax, read and socialize.

    8. Spellman Hall

      The home to first year residence students, Spellman Hall also houses the health center and the security department adjacent to the Spellman lounge. Recent renovations to the building range from infrastructure, bathrooms and windows - the entire campus is totally wireless.

    9. Founders Hall

      The residence hall located closest to Reid Castle is a multi-use building. In addition to housing students, the building also houses many support service departments. The new student service wing includes: the international student advisor, the Duchesne Center (which oversees the community service program) and study abroad. This building also contains the black box theatre, faculty offices, student activities, academic advising and the Center for Career Development.

    10. Berman Center

      One of two student centers on campus, the Berman Student Center is the newest building on campus. This building which has received a green building designation contains the cardio fitness center which is adjacent to both computer classrooms and an additional dance studio on the top floor. The home of the communications department, it also houses the largest theatre on campus along with the radio station and the second art gallery space. 

    11. Benzinger Hall

      1)    Two dining spaces housed in Benzinger Hall provide the students varied dining options for their meals. The newly renovated dining hall provides an eclectic mix of foods and standard favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a buffet format. The café has dining options for students who prefer a smaller meal option. The newly renovated game room and bookstore are adjacent to a full service post office.
