      • The pathway leading up to the field is actually made of an experimental pathway that reduces harmful runoff by soaking up water before it can make it to the streams and lakes. While it can’t be used for major roadways, it has potential for parking lots.

      • The field itself is made of permeable turf with a retention bin under it that collects water, which lowers dangerous runoff. Sports teams can play on the field as soon as 5 minutes after a rainstorm because of this turf!
