    1. Memorial Stadium

Memorial Stadium on the campus of Tarleton State University was completed in 1977. Recent renovations to the west stands has increased seating capacity to 7,000 spectators for athletic events. The concrete bleachers rest against a dirt berm on the east (home) side of the field with a center section featuring 750 seats with back rests forming a purple "T".

The lower level features a concession stand with restrooms, while the press box resides on the upper level. The press box is heated and air-conditioned and is more than 100 feet long. It includes ample working space for press, scouts, sideline communications, film crews, statisticians, public address announcer, scoreboard operators, home and visitor radio stations, and a VIP room.

The stadium is bordered on the east and west side by hard-surfaced parking lots, on the north by the intramural complex, and on the south by the Physical Education Field Facility, completed in 1989, housing coaches' offices, a training room, and the sports medicine office. The most recent addition to the track & field complex is a storage/concession/restroom building just to the north of the stands by the jump pits.

The stadium is easy to access from Business 377 (Washington Street) by turning at the Harbin Street intersection.

Oscar H. Frazier Memorial Track was originally a seven-lane track, completed in 1977. A major facelift was completed in 1989 in time for Tarleton to host the 1990 and 1991 NAIA National Track & Field Championships. Now with eight lanes and an all-weather surface, Frazier Track borders a natural grass field and is encircled by a chain link fence.

On August 25, 1977, the track at Tarleton's Memorial Stadium was dedicated to Oscar H. Frazier, a former professor and track coach who joined the Tarleton faculty in 1925. After Frazier served in WWII, he returned to Tarleton until his retirement in 1965. During his coaching tenure, Frazier won 19 state and conference championships and saw many of his athletes go on to major colleges and even the Olympics.

Frazier was a graduate of Texas A&M and a member of the Southwest Conference championship track team. He has been selected as a Distinguished Faculty Member and inducted into the Tarleton Athletic Hall of Fame.
