Biblical studies majors are trained in informed interpretation of the Christian Scriptures and integrating their understanding of the Bible with their responses to God, neighbor, and self, as well as with just responses to human need. Religious studies majors are equipped to be faithful, well-informed, and culturally sensitive participants in intercultural and interreligious dialogue and to engage the world from a place of committed Christian faith, awareness, and praxis. The Department of Biblical and Religious Studies is located in the Duke Academic Complex on West Campus.
