    1. Surrey-Williamson Inn

The Surrey provides an elegant setting for College receptions, meetings, and academic symposia, in addition to functioning as a unique guest house for distinguished visitors. It was built in 1918 as Broadview Lodge, modeled after an English country manor. Skidmore acquired the Surrey in 1967 and in 1999 named it in honor of longtime trustee and benefactor Susan Kettering Williamson ’59.
