    1. Carnegie Building

      Built in 1908, Carnegie Building was originally a library but now houses the academic offices and classrooms for the Politics department (basement), International Relations program (basement), Public Policy Analysis program (1st floor), and Economics department (2nd floor).

    2. Big Bridges

      A focal point on the Pomona College campus, Bridges Auditorium (known colloquially as Big Bridges) was built in 1931, seats 2,500, and is a venue for public lectures, music performances, comedy shows, dance concerts, and other events.

    3. Smith Campus Center

      The H. Russell and Jeanne Smith Campus Center is the hub of activity at Pomona College and includes the Coop Store, the Coop Fountain, the Sagehen Café, the Associated Students of Pomona College (ASPC) student government office, the student mailroommeeting spaces, the Writing Center, the Quantitative Skills Center and the Asian American Resource Center, as well as event spaces like Rose Hills Theatre, Edmunds Ballroom and Doms Lounge.

       

      Smith Campus Center also arranges student activities and programming, hosts the Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Company, hosts student organization space, coordinates the co-curricular leadership initiative, and advises the ASPC.

    4. Bridges Hall of Music

      The Mabel Shaw Bridges Hall of Music (known as Little Bridges), considered the "architectural gem" of the Pomona College campus, was built in 1915 and often features public musical concerts and ceremonies such as Convocation.

    5. Harwood Court

      The oldest residence hall on South Campus, Harwood Court was built in 1919-21 and renovated most recently in 2010. Harwood is arranged around a central courtyard and houses 170 students in singles and doubles, three four-person apartments, and four tower suites. There is a large main lounge, a kitchen and TV room.

       

      The Sustainability Integration Office, located in the northeast basement of Harwood Court, develops, administers, coordinates and assesses sustainability efforts throughout Pomona College.

    6. Oldenborg Residence

      Located behind Oldenborg Center for Modern Languages, the Office of Study Abroad coordinates all study abroad programs for Pomona students and the Office of International Student Services provides services to international students related to their immigration status in the United States.

    7. Sumner Hall Parking Lot

      The Sumner Hall parking lot is for visitors and has 38 total spaces with seven handicap spaces, as well as Zipcar parking.

    8. Sumner Hall (Admissions), Pomona College

      Sumner Hall has been moved and reoriented since it was given to the College as its first building in Claremont in 1888. Today, it greets prospective and new students as home to the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Campus Life.

    9. Seaver House

      Seaver House, built in the city of Pomona in 1900 and donated and moved to the Pomona College campus in 1979, is the home of Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement.

    11. Mason Hall

      Mason Hall, originally built as a chemistry building in 1923, now houses Asian Languages and LiteraturesGerman StudiesHistoryRomance Languages and Literatures, and Russian Studies, as well as the Foreign Language Resource Center.

    12. Crookshank Hall

      Crookshank Hall, built in 1922 as the College's zoology building, now houses the English department and the Media Studies program.

    13. Rains Center, Pomona College

      The Lilliore Green Rains Center for Sport and Recreation is the centerpiece for physical education at Pomona College. It has two gymnasiums, squash and racquetball/handball courts, a weight-training facility, aerobics room, locker rooms and the Physical Education department.

    14. Merritt Football Field, Pomona College

      The Earl J. Merritt Football Field, built in 1991, stands prominently on Sixth Street and was named for legendary football coach Earl "Fuzz" Merritt '25.
    15. Baseball Field, Pomona College

      The Alumni Baseball Field is located south of Merritt Football Field and to the east of Bridges Auditorium.
    16. Haldeman Aquatics Center, Pomona College

      The Haldeman Aquatics Center, completed in 1991, has a 50-meter by 25-yard Olympic-size pool, 1m and 3m diving boards, and separate locker and training facilities. It is located east of Merritt Football Field.

    18. Queer Resource Center

      The Queer Resource Center is a 7 College resource center serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, omnisexual, and pansexual communities, as well as allies, at The Claremont Colleges; Claremont Graduate University, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, Keck Graduate Institute, Pitzer College, Pomona College, and Scripps College. Located in Walton Commons.
    19. Dialynas Hall

      Dialynas Hall is a LEED platinum residence hall and the home of the Outdoor Education Center (OEC). Built alongside Sontag Hall in 2011, it has 78 beds configured in three-, four-, five- and six-bedroom suites around a common living room. The three-story building has a large common area and kitchen on each floor. Dialynas has green-living features like air conditioning that turns off when windows are opened, low water use fixtures, solar water heating and an electricity cutoff switch for each suite.

       

      The Outdoor Education Center provides hands-on opportunities for all students in outdoor education and recreation, including physical education classes, leadership and wilderness training, field trips, recreational trips, Orientation Adventure, and more.
