  1. Pitzer College Tour

    1. Pitzer Mills Avenue Parking

      Parking on both sides of Mills Avenue is limited to faculty and staff permit parking during office hours. There are three handicapped parking spaces and two visitor parking spaces on the east side. A turnaround for drop-offs is in front of Broad Center.
    2. Fletcher Hall

      FLETCHER HALL houses classrooms, faculty offices, the Office of the Registrar, the Institute for Global/Local Action & Study (IGLAS) and a student study lounge. 

    3. Scott Hall

      SCOTT HALL is home to the Office of Student Affairs, Career Services, Office of the Dean of Faculty, the Community Engagement Center and Information Technology (basement). It also has a photography wet lab, faculty offices and a classroom.

    4. Scott Courtyard (Academic Quad), Pitzer

      The SCOTT COURTYARD is in the academic center of the campus. It is surrounded by Broad and Bernard Halls on the north, Scott Hall on the west, and Fletcher and Avery Halls on the south. Students, faculty and staff often meet here for discussions, a cup of coffee, and a quick bite to eat. Events and receptions are frequently held here as well.

    5. Bernard Hall

      BERNARD HALL houses the computer lab with both Macs and PCs, classrooms, Duplicating Services, the Pit-Stop Cafe, faculty offices, classrooms and a student study lounge.

    6. Broad Hall

      BROAD HALL is home to faculty offices, classrooms including computer classrooms, the Fletcher Jones Language Laboratory, and a number of other offices and laboratories. These include the Anthropology Resource Apprenticeship; Claremont Infant Study Center; Cross Cultural Anthropology; Memory and Aging Lab; Paleoanthropology Lab; Psychology Labs; and the Social Science Interview Room.

    7. Avery Hall

      AVERY HALL houses classrooms, faculty offices and the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment. It is also home to Benson Auditorium, the largest event space on the Pitzer campus with seating for 320.
    8. Benson Auditorium, Pitzer

      GEORGE C.S. BENSON AUDITORIUM, a 320-seat state-of-the-art facility, is the largest event space on the Pitzer campus. It is used for classroom space, performances, lectures, film screenings and more.
    9. Pellissier Mall (The Mounds), Pitzer

      PELLISSIER MALL (The Mounds) is the site of numerous campus events and activities and is also a central gathering place for the campus community. Faculty members often hold classes on the Mounds with a view of the San Gabriel mountains as a backdrop.

    10. McConnell Apron, Pitzer

      The McCONNELL APRON is used as a stage for events such as the Kohoutek Music and Arts Festival and the Rockabilly Festival, both held every spring, It is also used for events during New Student Orientation, Family Weekend and Alumni Weekend.

    11. McConnell Center

      MCCONNELL CENTER is a three-story mixed-use building. McConnell Dining Hall and the McConnell Living Room are on the main level. Human Resources, the Treasurer's Office, Financial Aid and Student Accounts and the Founders Room are on the top floor. Facilities and Campus Services, Audio Visual Services, the Salathé Gallery and Ceramics Studios are on the bottom floor.

    12. McConnell Founders Room, Pitzer

      The McCONNELL FOUNDERS ROOM and adjoining atrium is used for conferences, meetings, performances and presentations as well as seated meals. It is on the top floor of McConnell Center. The large landing on the top floor can also be used as overflow space.

    13. Mead Hall

      MEAD HALL, one of the upperclass residence halls, is also home to the Center for Asian Pacific American Students (CAPAS), Office of Communications, Writing Center, Pitzer College Archives and office of the Arboretum director.

    14. Gold Student Center Multipurpose Room, Pitzer

      The GOLD STUDENT CENTER MULTIPURPOSE ROOM (GSC MPR) is a large space used for performances, meetings and conferences; it can also be set up for seated meals. The large room can be divided into three separate spaces. Maximum capacity is 215, depending on the configuration. It also opens up onto a terrace with seating that can be used for overflow.

    15. Lenzner Gallery, Pitzer

      The LENZNER FAMILY ART GALLERY is a space for risk and experimentation dedicated to emerging artists working in all media.

      Location: Atherton Hall, 1st Floor (north end, west side)
      Gallery hours: Noon-5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday or by appointment.

    16. Skandera Hall

      Skandera Hall is home to the Pitzer Archive and Conference Room, seminar classrooms and computer labs. It is part of the West Hall/East Hall complex.
    17. Grove House, Pitzer

      The GROVE HOUSE, an arts and crafts bungalow originally built in 1902, was moved to the Pitzer Campus in 1977. After it was renovated, it quickly became a gathering place and campus social center. The Grove House kitchen offers a daily menu that includes sandwiches, fresh-baked cookies, and fresh juices. The house also regularly hosts a variety of events including poetry readings and musical performances.

    18. Brant Field and Clock Tower, Pitzer

      BRANT FIELD is at the north end of the Mounds bordered by the Broad Center patio on the west and the Grove House on the east. 

    19. Broad Performance Space, Pitzer

      The BROAD PERFORMANCE SPACE is located on the first floor of Broad Center. The room can be set up in classroom, conference, theater-style, or U-shape configurations with a maximum capacity of 130, depending on the setup.

    20. Broad Center

      BROAD CENTER, located at Platt Boulevard and Mills Avenue, is home to the President's Office, Office of College Advancement, Nichols Art Gallery, the Broad Performance Space, classrooms and faculty offices.
