Address: 28 Ochre Point Ave.
Situated along Ochre Point Avenue near other academic buildings, the Misto Gatehouse houses the offices of Sponsored Programs and Undergraduate Studies. It is named for Sister Leona Misto, the University's vice president for mission integration from 2001-2016.
Misto Gatehouse was once the gardener’s cottage for Catherine Lorillard Wolfe's sprawling Vinland estate, one of seven former Gilded Age estates on which Salve's campus is now situated. Designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, the building’s turrets, gables and wrought-iron lanterns presented a storybook welcome as guests entered the sweeping curve of Vinland's driveway.
