  1. Study Abroad

    1. Uganda

Uganda/Rwanda Students will experience life and culture in eastern Africa: food, languages, histories, and taboos. In Buganda, the class will learn about Africa’s ancient kingdoms. Among Iteso, they will explore Late Iron Age rock paintings and clan politics. On the Nile, they will study the history of Africa’s global economies. At sites of massacre in Rwanda, they will rethink the regional and international complexities that resulted in genocide. In addition, the 24 days on the ground include white water rafting the Nile and a safari. Contact Professor. Jon Earle.
