The building’s namesake was an iconic figure at Centre. Kitty Baird spent more that 50 years at the College as a coach, professor and administrator, and she is credited with establishing its women’s varsity athletics programs. The Centre community was saddened by the passing of this pioneer in 2014.
The 3,000-square-foot free-span building houses Centre’s After School Program (ASP) and provides space for fitness and recreation programs.
