In fiscal years 2023-2024, Boise State received $90M in deferred maintenance funds from the State of Idaho. These funds will allow us to complete several top projects on the university’s capital renewal/deferred maintenance list. Projects on this list address deficiencies in our campus facilities and infrastructure that had been deferred until funds were available. View more on our website.
- Chiller Replacement: Replaces end of life chillers with new. This building houses a lot of critical research for the University. Replacing the chillers now ensures that research can continue by reducing repairs and downtime for the next 30 years.
- Boiler Replacement: The boiler is original to the building and has reached end of life. Two new boilers will be installed to improve redundancy, energy efficiency, and reduce our carbon footprint.
