In fiscal years 2023-2024, Boise State received $90M in deferred maintenance funds from the State of Idaho. These funds will allow us to complete several top projects on the university’s capital renewal/deferred maintenance list. Projects on this list address deficiencies in our campus facilities and infrastructure that had been deferred until funds were available. View more on our website.
- Switchgear Replacements: The switchgear in the Library, SMASH, Math Geo, and Liberal Arts is either reaching end of life or is well past end of life. Replacing these systems now improves the safety of maintenance personnel that operate this equipment as well as improving the resiliency of other systems in the building. This allows Boise State to still continues it’s goals of providing world class education and research.
