In fiscal years 2023-2024, Boise State received $90M in deferred maintenance funds from the State of Idaho. These funds will allow us to complete several top projects on the university’s capital renewal/deferred maintenance list. Projects on this list address deficiencies in our campus facilities and infrastructure that had been deferred until funds were available. View more on our website.
- Boiler Replacement: These boilers have reached end of life but serve the heating needs of many of the labs within the building. They are difficult to repair due to the design and replacing them is less costly than repair. This project will install new boilers, pumps, and controls with the goal of increasing energy efficiency, ease of maintenance and reliability of the heating systems in the building.
