The Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology (ACR) program leads to an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree and is offered through the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies. This program, which has a total of 85 credit hours, prepares graduates for careers providing job security, variety, and competitive salaries in the HVAC industry. Students receive comprehensive instruction covering residential and commercial air conditioning, unitary refrigeration, and systems controls through classroom learning and hands-on lab work, including two half-semester company-sponsored internships.
