The Main Campus and the Medical Center is serviced by a central heating and cooling plant. The plant uses electricity, fuel oil and natural gas to generate steam that is used for heating, hot water, autoclaves, humidification and cleaning. The central plant also services Georgetown Univerity Hospital.
