The College’s greenest residence hall, West Hall puts the principles of sustainable design to work in the day-to-day lives of students. The hall features spacious suites, new furnishings and green features such as motion-sensitive lighting, rooftop solar panels, and a surrounding garden of water-stingy native prairie plants.
West Hall, which is air conditioned, earned a gold rating in the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
The Office of Residence Life is also located in West Hall.
