The Office of Admission is located next to the Alumni Center in the Ford Complex inside the archway. The office was moved there in 1997. The handicrafts center had occupied this area since 1928. It is now home to the dean of admissions, admissions counselors and staff. The wing facing west, formerly used for weaving, also serves admissions operations. The focal point of the front office area is the huge fireplace with the inscription, "She layeth her hands to the spindle" (Proverbs 31:19). Above the inscription, wood carvings of three flowers - the tulip, the sunflower and the thistle - further enhance the room's focal point.
