Students congregate in the Crooker Center where the Celts Market Place cafeteria, Subway Restaurant and a variety of student services can be found. The Office of Student Activities and several student organizations occupy the first floor of Crooker Center. Meet your student senators in the Student Government Association, join a club or start your own in the Council of Clubs and learn about exciting events planned by the Student Activities Board.
On the second floor, students can take advantage of services offered by the Mendenhall Achievement Center, which assists students in achieving their goals at UST with comprehensive, professional support services from multiple offices, including Academic Advising, Career Services and Testing, Counseling and Disability Services, and Tutorial Services – all in one building. The Office of Students Affairs and International Students and Scholar Services is also located here.
The Office of International Student and Scholar Services helps international students navigate the visa process and remain in compliance with immigration regulations. OISSS oversees all F and J visa holders that attend UST and reports to government agencies. OISSS also provides resources like workshops on how to file taxes and information about work-based visas.
