It houses Doherty Library and Hugh Roy Marshall Graduate Philosophy Library.
Doherty Library is a 50,000 square-foot facility with a collection that includes more than 250,000 books and 80,000 periodicals, access to more than 225 databases, and inter-library loan access. Students can do online research here, study in the silent reading room or ask for advice from reference librarians.
The library lobby is a venue for art and history exhibits and receptions. The second floor houses the Hugh Roy Marshall Graduate Philosophy Library and provides a location for students to study together with a view overlooking the Academic Mall. The basement contains extensive study space, and includes new state-of-the art classrooms, computer labs and a theater.
