Campus Ministry serves students of all faiths and is attentive to the spiritual life of the campus community through the sacraments, spiritual guidance and counseling in the Christian tradition. Campus Ministry also has a lot of fun. You’ll often see our chaplain, Fr. Mike Buentello, CSB, donned in a cowboy hat and cooking briskets or roasting a pig for events in his custom barbecue pit, “Holy Smoke.”
Campus Ministry and its student leaders often host retreats at a beach or at Texas campsites. Special Masses, such as the Mass of the Holy Spirit in the fall and the Mass of St. Thomas Aquinas in the spring, bring the campus community together. Students grow in their faith through Bible study, volunteering, religious education courses or serving at Mass.
