The Classroom/Lab/Computer Building, with a distinctive notched roofline, contains general purpose and computer classrooms; science laboratories; studios for art, dance and music and the University Technology Office.
The Statistics Lab is a computing and consultation center where students can use statistical software or receive technical assistance using the software. Students enrolled in specific Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College classes use the Intel Lab to work with multimedia materials.
The building was built in two stages. Phase One opened in spring 1991. Phase Two opened in spring 2002, and received the “Best of 2004” award from the Southwest Contractors Association in the category of “Education Project/University.” The round walls of the CLCC Building surround a circular courtyard featuring dancing water spouts and a black marble, notched saucer, which spills water into a pool that flows down an 11-foot terraced spillway.
