Be sure to stop in the G. Homer Durham Language and Literature building to see a great example of how small classrooms are set up. The building offers a mix of traditional lecture halls and modern classrooms that accommodate small group discussion and work.
As you would expect from the name, the Department of English and the School of International Letters and Cultures are located here. The Film and Media Studies Program also makes its residence in the building. First-year composition courses are capped at 19 students and many of the first-year foreign language courses have class size limits, too.
Built in 1964 and updated in 1969, ASU added Durham's name in 1994 to honor G. Homer Durham, president of ASU from 1960 to 1969.
