The Del E. Webb Altitude Chamber Lab allows students to experience the physiological effect oxygen deprivation has on the body. It is used by ASU Professional Flight students; private, corporate, and government agency pilots/aircrews; and students from different flight schools. The two altitude chambers are capable of simulating altitudes over 70,000' and have been used for product testing/development, human subject research, and loss of cabin pressurization simulation training.
