Irish Hall, located in the Center Neighborhood, and home of the Arcadia Residential Community for Design and the Arts provides double-occupancy accommodations with community-style bath facilities for both freshman and upper-class honors students. The hall, co-ed by room, offers access to a computer lab, laundry and kitchen facilities, vending machines, air conditioning, a volleyball court and basic cable. Additional amenities to the community include music practice rooms, art/design spaces and dance/theatre studios.

Irish Hall, built in 1940 with an addition in 1946, honors Fred M. Irish, one of the first science teachers at the Arizona Territorial Normal School. Known by the students as "Cap," Irish was a leader of student activities for 45 years, first football coach (1896-1906), first athletic director (1896-1913), first registrar (1925) and received an honorary degree the first year they were awarded (1940).
