      The biomedical program educates future biomedical engineers through practice-oriented training so that graduates can utilize technological advancements, contribute to innovative solutions in a collaborative environment, and make appropriate decisions for their areas of professional responsibility.
      
      Opened in 2012, Ira Allen is the campus building dedicated to courses in the Biomedical Engineering program. Here, there are a handful of laboratories where students can get hands-on learning experience.
