Capitol Village Redevelopment
The Capitol Village Site is referenced by the Campus Master Plan for substantial redevelopment. However, the more investment that is made in the Vivarium, the less likely it is for the entire property to redevelop. Still, there remains prominent areas along both Capitol Blvd/Boise Avenue and University Drive that could support an appropriately-sized building for this entrance location. This site could house a new research building, or a mix of uses that leverage the location’s proximity to Lusk and the Campus Core.
