The Hedrick Building contains the College's administrative offices, faculty members' offices, as well as a number of classrooms. It is named in memory of J.T. Hedrick of Lexington, NC, a friend and trustee of the College for many years.
The area also includes Holmes Plaza, named in memory of Haden C. and Lucy Pannill Holmes, grandparents of James F. Hurley of Salisbury, former chairman of the Catawba Board of Trustees and donor of funds for the plaza.
