About the Building
Built in 1956, Gordis Hall is named after former faculty member Warren S. Gordis. This residence hall is located near the Athletic Training Center, next to Smith Hall and across from Public Safety. Gordis Hall serves as home to 140 first-year residents in shared-occupancy rooms. The building has a common area, laundry room, student lounges and community-style bathrooms on each floor. Gordis Hall has a resident assistant (R.A.) on every floor that helps students by providing opportunities to develop deep and meaningful relationships not just with their roommates, but with members of the entire building.
