          In the fall of 1984, Loyola Marymount opened the Burns Fine Arts Center, home to the Departments of Art & Art History, the Department of Music and the Dance program (of the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance).  The Burns Fine Arts Center contains studios dedicated to dance, music, ceramics, photography, graphic design, printmaking, jewelry design, among others, and classrooms dedicated to the study of the histories of visual art, music, and dance.  Murphy Recital Hall, Laband Art Gallery, and the Thomas P. Kelly Student Art Gallery also call Burns Fine Arts Center Home.
