Pine Cottage is home to Special Programs which offers a range of distinctive academic and cultural initiatives — including arts institutes, lecture series, artist and scholar residencies, and community-centered programs — that enrich the College’s core mission and strengthen its connection to the local community. As part of the Academic Affairs division, Special Programs oversees Skidmore’s Summer Sessions and the nationally recognized Pre-College Program, along with a diverse portfolio of renowned educational and cultural arts offerings.
