This 165,000 square-foot building houses research space for the Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Stedman Nutrition Center, and the departments of Surgery and Medicine. It also supports and complements the nearby Genome Science Research Buildings.
MSRB II earned LEED™ Silver Certification through its design to use 26% less energy than the typical energy-intensive research laboratory, features including window shading and light-colored exterior materials, and a 75% recycling rate of construction materials.
