      1. Atkinson Hall

        Thomas W. Atkinson Hall houses the LSU School of Architecture. The five-year undergraduate program includes the areas of management, humanities, technology, and graphic communication. 

        Atkinson Hall was completed in 1924. The building is named after Thomas W. Atkinson. He was a cadet in 1888, earned a BSME in 1898, was professor in 1897, dean of engineering in 1907, and president 1926-31. The building anchors the southern end of the Quadrangle and features a tow-stage campanile with a domed cupola.
