Boise State has partnered with the City of Boise to extend geothermal energy to the campus. Most new construction will include geothermal as a heat source. The Central Management Systems are smart buildings that adjust based on occupancy levels.Unique geothermal amenities on campus include the Micron Business and Economics Building's snow-melting features on its patio.

- Interactive Learning Center (ILC)
