The Thomas Tredway Library subscribes to more than 100 electronic databases and offers a large collection of both print and electronic books, periodicals, audio-visual materials and maps.
Group study areas, computer labs and quiet study zones are available throughout the building.
The library also houses Augustana’s Special Collections, which includes rare books, manuscripts and the college archives.
The library opened in September 1990. In 2003, it was named in honor of Dr. Thomas Tredway, who served as Augustana's seventh president from 1975-2003. The library was renovated in 2013 as part of The Gerber Center for Student Life construction.
