Opened in 1969, Presser Hall is one of two buildings that house the School of Music. Built in the modern architectural style introduced by Stetson University President J. Ollie Edmunds, its white columns were designed to resemble the keys of a piano. Presser Hall features classrooms and numerous private practice spaces for students, in addition to faculty offices and a central courtyard. One of the building's main features is its principal ensemble space. This large rehearsal room is acoustically treated to accommodate groups of varying sizes. Floor-to-ceiling acoustical curtains on two walls and two curved wooden walls work together to provide optimum rehearsal conditions for ensembles.
