Stetson University purchased the Lynn Business Center building in 1990 to accommodate the growing business school. In 2002, the university committed to a massive renovation of the former bank building. At the same time, the Wands Center for Information Technology was added, contributing another 13,000 square feet of space. The new addition included the 144-seat Rinker Auditorium. Upon completion of the renovation in 2003, the Lynn Business Center became the first building in Florida to be certified as a green building by the U.S. Green Building Council, under its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.
The Lynn Business Center houses the School of Business Administration, faculty offices, computer labs and classroom space, as well as the university's Office of Information Technology. A major feature of the School of Business Administration is the trading room of the nationally recognized Roland George Investments Program.
