Built in the Georgian style that dominates East Campus, the Friedl Building houses the departments of African & African American Studies and Cultural Anthropology and the Programs in Literature and Latino/a Studies. It is one of the university's centers for teaching and learning in the humanities.
Freidl Building earned LEED™ Silver Certification recognizing sustainable features and design in 2007.
