The original Norbertine priory would, in time, become the first Norbertine abbey in the United States. The order gifted the building to the college in 2015, at which time it was converted to a residence hall before turning into spaces for the St. Norbert College Parish. The building now houses the Catholic Student Center, parish offices, small group meeting rooms and offices for the working Norbertines on campus.
