About the Building
Maxcy Hall, part of the University Village Apartments complex, opened to students in fall 2006. Located on the eastern edge of the DeLand campus, Maxcy Hall, like the other buildings that make up U.V.A., offers the same amenities that can be found in off-campus housing. Each apartment is fully furnished with a private bedroom for each resident, two baths, cable, wireless Internet access, a full kitchen, a dining area and a living area. Residents of UVA may request gender-neutral living arrangements. Residents have access to on-site parking and the Rinker Clubhouse which houses a game room, computer lab, laundry room, and lounge/meeting space. U.V.A. primarily houses upper-division students.
Maxcy is made up of 2-bedroom apartments each with two bathrooms, one for each resident residing in the apartment.
