Take time to look deep within yourself as you walk the labyrinth and relax in the quiet of the pine ridge. Beautiful views toward Crow Butte and other landmarks of the area can be found here.
The labyrinth is located in an old cistern in the hills south of campus. Visitors can access the labyrinth from the gravel parking area to the west and follow the trail up the hill. Access is also available from campus by following the trail from Briggs Pond to the north. Art students, faculty, CSC employees, and community members were involved in the construction of the labyrinth, which is laid out with stones from the site of the Math Science Center of Innovative Learning. The stones were moved up to the site of the labyrinth when the Math Science COIL’s renovation began in the fall of 2020. Visitors to the labyrinth are encouraged to build a cairn using the remaining rocks at the edge of the cistern.
