The Appell Life Sciences building is located on Main Campus here at York College. This building hosts courses for students in all York’s life sciences majors! From biology, to education, to psychology and the other behavioral sciences, students in the Appell Life Sciences building have access to labs, major-specific suites, and resources to make their learning as hands-on as possible.
In addition to the state-of-the-art biology labs, the Life Sciences building is also home to the Shipley Education Center. Here you will find an educational technology lab, as well as classrooms staged as elementary school classrooms, preparing our future teachers for field experience, student teaching, and careers after graduation.
